It's still possible to register for the Waldorf parenting conference in
Colorado. Register now at www.waldorfinthehome.com. There are several
work-scholarship opportunities available (see below). All workshops are
still available, and there is still space in the children's programs for
all ages:
"Whole Parent, Whole Family"
October 27-28 in Boulder, Colorado
With keynote speakers:
Tim Burns, bringing the latest brain research supporting optimal
learning and Waldorf education;
Joan Almon from the Alliance for Childhood discussing the national
initiatives supporting the rebirth of play; and
Regina Mason speaking on "Fostering and Preserving Your Child's Creative
Spirit."
If anyone has experience with audio-visual equipment, I'm offering a
free registration in exchange for doing CD recordings (our equipment;
and your partner can attend for the "spouse rate" of about 1/2 price).
There is also another full scholarship available in exchange for working
at the book table during registration, the breaks, and lunch. Send me
an email if either of these offers would make it possible for you to
attend.
We'll be having some great new audio and video recordings available soon
from the California conference last weekend--stay tuned.
Warmly,
Rahima
